Six GLP TWYN and 12 GLP Nexus Line fixtures shaped the floor package for “Tour, was du nicht lassen kannst” by German singer Gregor Hägele, designed by lighting designer Johannes Münsch. Arranged as two staggered layers of fixtures, the package combined moving light imagery with a precise graphic contour set in front of the band.
Münsch makes no secret of having found a new favorite in the TWYN. “The TWYN is a seriously brilliant new fixture with a very nice form factor,” says Johannes Münsch, lighting designer. “The two sides of the TWYN let you achieve completely different effects from a single fixture, whether that’s fanned-out beam looks, gentle single-beam washes or big strobe sections.”
Eleven shows in May 2026 took the tour through 10 German cities and on to Vienna. Gregor Hägele came to wider attention in 2017 as a semi-finalist on The Voice of Germany. His debut album Prototyp Liebe, released in 2024, reached number 10 in the German album charts, and its successor Testphase Liebe appeared on the charts two days before the tour opened, entering in at number seven.

Groh-P.A. Veranstaltungstechnik planned and delivered the entire technical setup. Video content for the tour was created by Sascha Wernicke and Julius Turzynski.
The GLP TWYN combines two distinct lighting systems in a single double-sided moving head. One side takes its concept from the GLP Creos, working as a powerful washlight with a 3 by 3 RGBL LED array and a zoom range of 4 to 53 degrees. The reverse side draws on the GLP JDC Burst 1, pairing 36 high-output white LEDs for intense strobe effects with 480 RGBW LEDs for color accents and dynamic looks.
Continuous pan and tilt rotation extends the creative possibilities further. Weighing only 16 kg, with a calibrated color mix (iQ.Gamut) using defined white points, integrated iQ.Mesh technology and a compact form factor, the TWYN is particularly well suited to touring productions and smaller venues where high flexibility is required within limited space.
On Gregor Hägele’s live shows, 12 GLP Nexus Line units formed the precise line of light in front of the TWYN fixtures.

The GLP Nexus Line is a 50 cm wireless, battery-powered RGBW LED panel with IP65 protection. Its 48 individually controllable RGBW pixels allow precise pixel mapping and dynamic effect programming, with control handled flexibly through either the GLP iQ.Control app or the Vision Control app. Magnetic mounting options and integrated hanging points allow quick and secure installation, while an integrated cable channel provides clean routing for up to five USB-C power cables for continuous operation.
For integrating the panels into the floor package, the magnetic mounting gave Johannes Münsch and his team a solution that was as straightforward as it was road-ready, considerably easing both get-in and get-out.

Münsch also rates his experience of working with GLP, and the support he received across the tour, highly.
“With Uli Steinle, we had a great point of contact at GLP – someone who is always ready to help,” says Münsch. “The whole team I met at the Karlsruhe show was fantastic as well. I always enjoy using GLP fixtures, whether that’s TWYN, JDC or X5. They have become an industry standard by now, in touring and in television alike.”
